There was only 160,128 of these minted. I was able to get this one for below spot. It's not the best of condition yet how would you grade this and thoughts on value. Ty in advance, cheers. Jon.

No room for a low ball on this one? I thought since there was such a low mintage it would carry itself better lol. Perhaps not.....ty for the replies.

No low ball----but it is on the way---and I'm not going to pocket it for 20 years. Fine sanding would help then erase sanding evidence by hand or leather strap with a acrylic polish for about a day-----then you would end up with a fake lowball, and zero satisfaction.

Just another thought about low mintages such as 160,000. What would a ballpark survivor rate be for this series---there has been 2 or 3 big melting occasions since 1914---So I figure about 6% left which is 9,600. People remember buckets of silver coins being picked through before being sent to the melt.

Lambecolin if you are right on those numbers that's really not a whole lot left in the collector arena. I wonder how often these come up for sale and if there are many people missing this year in their sets.
Lol Shafta, we have to have little breaks every now and then eh, ty, cheers.
