Haven't seen one like that before. Looks like it was an altered 1944 D, but I'm just not sure specifically because the "4" isn't the right "4" you see on a 1944 D.

This one has been up for several weeks now. I'm just not sure, what do you guys think? Date & relief looks strange. Looks like the relief from the 40's-50's cents.

Interested in what you guys think about this. I haven't posted on of these forum threads in a month and a half or so, you guys tell me.

Your second link shows a problem coin, a very problem coin, but it appears genuine and is being sold by a major ebay coin seller. The first link is an obvious altered date.

I agree with an altered date on the first coin, you can see the tool marks where the 4 was and the D is too big IMO
Rest in Peace

First one looks altered . 2nd one looks genuine but very corrosive. should have been listed as EF details. would not spend that kind of money just to fill a hole.

The date & mintmark match, but the relief of Lincoln on the 2nd one doesn't.
