I am considering signing up for
the Heritage Auction Gallery.
I have read many posts in Coin Community
mentioning Heritage as good source of
reference for grading,variety,etc.
When I tried to sign up I was asked
for my address and e mail.
I am a little leary of providing this information,
I don't mind mailings or newsletters
but I dont want to be involved with contracts
or bidding expectations or service fees.
Can I register on Heritage without being hassled for anything,
"Is is safe"
Thanks for the advice

I registered a while ago, and all I typically get is email traffic for upcoming auctions, and the occasional flyer in the mail for the large events. They do not hound me or anything like that.

My experience only of course, but I see nothing bad per se.

I get a few emails a month which mention upcoming sales. Also I signed up to be notified when my searches turn up some listings, so I get a few more emails of this type. If you win something, they will start to send you free catalogs which contain beautiful photos and informative write-ups about the rare pieces and are therefore great references. If you don't keep winning, these free catalogs will stop abruptly. Never any hassles or fees.

I agree with everyone else. You'll get maybe 2-3 e-mails a month (if even that) telling you about your upcoming auctions. I'm pretty sure if you want you can hit the spam button on those e-mails a few times and they're be completely gone. I haven't experienced any problems with spam from them or them selling my e-mail.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I just signed up and its pretty nice.
Great pix of cert.coins to use as references.
Does anybody list there coins in My Collection?
Seem like a useful way to keep track of "my collection".
Might even bid on an item or to.
