I've been studying 1888 large cents for a few years now and in doing so have come across a few different or unusual ones. Here's a 1888 that has a broken planchet these are not all that common and rarer then a regular lamination problem. Can these be looked at as the same as a lamination error only through the coin instead of on the surface?
Anyone else with a coin on a broken planchet feel free to show them here....I know I'd sure like to see some.

Cheers, Bill

SPP you got cheated on your coin not near enough copper in that one. Look, I'll help you out if you send me that one and I'll send you a brand new spanking one. All shinny too.

Cheers, Bill
