It matches the characteristics of S-225 with '1' touching hair.
Rarity 2 per Breen, R-3 per CQR.
Looks like a nice coin.

How does one respond to that question? All I can say is ... It is what it is.

IMHO, the OP's graffiti cent isn't quite as "distracting" as my counterstamped avatar cent. Both coins are better appreciated beyond their surface damage, be it for their design, their variety or the history that accompanies them. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.

That's a cool copper you have there, Razorblaydejr!

Haha, thanks ExoGuy! You are correct, I purchased this coin because I felt the graffiti was not distracting, for me at least. I loved this copper piece and thought that is was priced very fair.

Yes trout1105, is has some graffiti on the obverse. Looks like it was done awhile back and the scratches have actually patina-ed as well. In hand and not under glass, the graffiti is not very noticeable.

Thank you GERMANICVS for verifying the attribution. I was thinking this might be it, but I wanted an expert to let me know what they thought. Thanks again!
