Should I Get This Cleaned Canadian George V Dollar?

Bertensgrad Pillar of the Community United States 1192 Posts	Posted 06/23/2015 12:45 am I have been wanting canadian silver dollar either 1935 or 1936. I have the oppertunity of buying this coin for about $17 American. I know it's cleaned but I can't really afford any nicer right now. Should I pass or maybe offer less money? What would be a fair price? Could I realistically get a lower condition example for about that price non cleaned? Report this Post to the Staff

I also happen to have a $10 gift card so it's like $7 out of pocket. That being said I could use that card on anything so really doesn't matter besides the point that I'm just using the card to spurge of myself. Don't want to put much of my money into it right now. If everytime you look at it and think "that's a nice coin", then buy it. But since you're having second thoughts about it already by asking here, then maybe you should pass.
