I got this note in my change and it is one of the lowest I have seen in circulation. A pity about the condition of the note though

Low?
The second digit is a "6" so the serial number is over 6 million.

In Australia the 06 is the year it was printed, and the last six numbers are the serial number.
So this note was printed in 2006 and has a serial number of 000156

Pretty neat. I had a look at what I have and the lowest number I have is 20 dollar AA 07 000 175. On the other hand, the highest number I have is a 50 dollar with serial number NM 99 999 703.
