My wife and I were in NY celebrating our anniversary and they were out by the time we got home. Are they truly sold out? They still have the "remind me" button for the notification of when they're back in is stock. I still haven't gotten an e-mail that they are so I'm surprised to hear someone got theirs this morning.

Reminds me of an Irving tale. I'll get my Truman sets soon enough but I'm still a little disappointed about the bronze being excluded from this set.

this is the best I can do for a picture of the die crack. as u can see I took off the top of the plastic holder so it is NOT a crack in the plastic. IT IS LOCATED AT APPROX. 9 O'CLOCK POSITION ON COIN

I see what might be a die crack or a piece of lint. Sorry, cmjohnso. Need clearer pix or a close up of the affected area.

All you need to do is take a clear pic then use the image resizer here and crop if you need to

In the photo optimizer, change the quality level, not the size.

Mine are still on the UPS truck. They shipped sig required. I'm afraid to use the bathroom for fear that the driver will show up while I'm in there.

Mine arrived about an hour ago. Unfortunately they got pretty beat up in transit. All 5 have some level of damage to the OGP, some minor, some fairly major. I'm certainly not sending them back (for obvious reasons). The coins themselves look pretty nice.
I'll get some pics up tomorrow; no time tonight.
Anyone else have OGP issues?

Oldschool...
Just leave a note on your door as follows:
Dear mr. postman, if I don't answer I am in the bathroom. Please do not take my expensive, rare and silver coins back to the office. I will be right out. There is a $20 in it for you. Please just Wait a minute. Thanks -me

I got five of the old style regular boxes. Here's the first one I opened. It was wrapped in bubble wrap: Looks like some lint on the reverse from the velvety portion of the holder. Mr. Truman sure is shiny!

CelticKnot- Call the mint and ask for replacement packaging. They did it for me once when my cat confused her litterbox for a box of silver proof sets. If they don't have any, I'd bet we'll see empty OGP on ebay really soon. You might even get an extra Truman stamp with it. I can see how they were damaged. Mine were packed the same way with a single piece of crumpled paper and it wasn't that heavy paper they used to use.
