It was a 1983 with the 3 touching the 8 (appearing as there is no 3) and the bottom of the 3 going through the 8 (not really sure how to explain it)
I only have flips for quarters, will be getting the other denominations on Saturday!

I did that, too, with a double sided beautiful trails penny - before I knew what trails were! Maybe many of us have done something like that at some time! I still feel:

My son and I keep a small plastic container available at the table as we CRH for exactly that reason: to avoid putting our finds back into another roll.
