so I know that theres a variety of the 1973 LMC with no VDB. is it just a worn out/ over polished die or was it excluded from the die totally?
I'm asking because I've found a few 1973 cents that have a VDB, but its very light and can barely see it. are these worth anything, or does there have to be no VDB at all? and if there is no VDB, how much would it be worth then?

They are from an over polished die. The VDB is raised on the die. (because that device is incuse) To me it add no premium, but is a heads up it is from a worn die)

So coop, I'd imagine the same thing happened to the 1990 D Jefferson with no designer initials?

I see cents without VDB all the time. I don't see why thins would bring a premium.

Drew: I'm not familiar with that issue. Do you have any images? It would only apply to incuse design coins. If the initials normally are raised and missing, the it would be a struck through issue. (grease)
