1902-S-Barber-Dime-Grade?

1902-S-Barber-Dime-Grade?

Nice liberty camera phone stinks for magnification.... Only letter is weak is E. I would guess f15 any thoughts. I paid 70 cents for it along with a ton of Barber dimes and quarters cheap which I posted on ebay lol. In grades of f12 and up value is 50$ plus not a bad score for 70 cents

I agree with a F-15, nice coin and a great buy price! Not sure if the rim ding above OF on the obverse (and its opposite location on the reverse) would give it a damaged grade - it might not because it looks like she circulated for quite awhile after those hits occurred.

For it to be fine ,you need all letters in liberty to be at least seen. therefore I'll give it VG-10.
Not Bad.

I'll vote VG10. No way you can read Liberty.

Reverse is definitely F12, so it might pull the obverse ahead a bit, so F12 here too.

Heck of a score for .70

are the 2 little indents, are they at the same spot on each side? it could be a VERY small rim clip...

I got a few more nice Barber dimes from the haul but nothing rare I think a 1910 and 1913 in way nicer shape than the 1902 s. I'll post tomorrow I think those grades are probably xf and AU. And yes there is all liberty there the E is the weakest....if I had better zoom features you'd all see it. Alas my camera phone sucks again

I am very picky about a complete LIBERTY on Barber dimes.
The "E" is the first letter to go. Then "B" and "R".
However, I can see "BER". It is weak and faint, but there.
I'll come in at F-12. Especially in this day and age of loose grading.
"LIBERTY" is complete but weak. San Francisco dimes are routinely strongly struck. Is this an exception?
Were this a New Orleans dime I'd have no hesitation.
Overall a VERY nice coin. F-12.
