This was my first purchase, in 1972, and in fact it was fairly well cleaned and bright at the time. I put it in a kraft envelope, and aside from checking it every so often, left it there for 40 years until I sold it, now toned, to a well-known LSQ collector in 2012 as trading material. Original cost was $60, believe it or not (LSQs weren't very popiular back then), and it sold for $2,250 as VF-20. Buyer said it was scace enough that he didn't care that it was one cleaned.
