1914 Barber Quarter- Altered Surfaces

Wizzy1 Valued Member United States 430 Posts	Posted 06/25/2015 7:09 pm I took a small chance and bought a details coin. It was graded altered surfaces which of course can mean a lot of things. But usually is something applied to the surface fillers or lacquer. I liked the nice strike of this coin, so I thought I might be able to rehab this coin but I don't see anything wrong with the surface. Any opinions thoughts would be appreciated. I think those are die polishing lines because they don't go on the devices like a cleaned coin and since near the devices they are seen instead of absent like on a cleaned coin. crack her and resubmit it to another TPG Feel free to call me Will.
