I found this coin in a bag of wheats from my LCS. It is really nice, but the coloration is unusual. What are your thoughts?

AU-53 or AU-55. It's a nice piece, maybe some weird air reaction?

Nice I see a au-53. I enjoy that obverse color. Looks to me as if someone planted that coin face up and something in the air caused that reaction. Doesn't scream artificial at all IMO.

It reminds me of a cent that was in a blue whitman folder,not album.It kinda looks like an old cleaning on the obverse,looks like cleaning scratches maybe.Over all does not look bad. John1

I see a little bit of the same whitish color at the top of the reverse. AU53 possible details.
