I returned to coin collecting as a hobby this year as an adult after a long time away. What got me back into it was the ATB Park Quarter program. I managed to get all of the P minted clad quarters by picking up rolls a few at a time from local banks (except for 2 of the 2009 Territories quarters), and most of the D minted ones. Got 21 of 24 of the remaining missing D quarters during a trip to Albuquerque last month. 2009 remains a troublesome year for all denominations as many of you probably well know, due to the low mintages that year.

After quarters, I branched out to nickels, dimes, and half dollars. Currently working on nickels, having just picked up my first box of nickels yesterday (wish I had done this sooner!). I have all of the nickels from 1961-2014 and am slowly making progress on the 1938-1960 period, with 32 slots still to go. Have found several in this first box of nickels, at the same time the rate of progress will likely slow down as anything with a mintage > 20 million is found.
