Hi, I'm George and I'm quite new to collecting Coins and bank notes, any tips? what is an un-circulated note? can there be un-circulated coins also? What are the ways to recognise them? Are there any cheapish coins or bank notes I should look out for?

Thank you for your time and help, all comments are appreciated!

Uncirculated notes are notes that have extremely little wear, and likely were never used in circulation. Same thing with coins, they were almost never used in circ. depending on what notes you want to get, some cool stuff is a worn down confederate currency set, where you can acquire most for under face value if it's in an okay grade, but still a pretty bad grade overall. It really depends on what country you want, how old, etc.

And by the way, welcome to the community!

The best way for you to get started would be: get yourself some books on coins and currency. get yourself familiar with the hobby. visit local coin shops , attend local coin shows.
and most of all have fun.

to CCF. I would suggest getting some decent tongs and a decent magnifier glass as well.
