Hi all,
I picked this up today, I like the toning coming in on a couple, I want to crack it open and 2by2 em but I felt I should seek some advice. I know for sure I cant open em without damaging the case. That's the main problem.
Thanks!

The holder has no value.

However the holder may be contributing to the toning so I would leave them as is in hopes of continuing toning.

I don't see the point of cracking it. It is a really cool holder.

There is the possibility that the toning may be due to the presence of chemicals within the cardboard inside the holder, gassing out.

Got ya, I was wanting to crack it to get clean pics. One I believe has a strike through or lam.

Here's what holders like this can do depending on coin surfaces and which compounds are in the cardboard

I would leave it alone, unless you really need the coins for your album or set.

I'd leave it as is, but of course it's up to you. I assume the case is welded shut?

edit: Oops, I see you already replied that you were going to leave as-is. Nice.

Right - the coins are just bullion by themselves, less than 10 bucks, so why not keep the whole thing?

Might be a good idea to place the entire thing in a zip lock plastic bag. Just to make sure mo more air gets to those coins.

K. Great advise, I lust feel like they could have been placed in a bit cleaner and at the least bit wish I could get it open to straighten them up a bit but oh we'll.

OK, Great advise (advice), I lust (just) feel like they could have been placed in a bit cleaner (straighter) and at the least bit wish I could get it open to straighten them up a bit but(,) oh we'll (well).
