Hi:

I had found this 1969s penny that I noticed what I thought was some doubling when I used a magnifying glass. I took pictures the best I could with my cell phone camera but not all of them are very clear. I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of doubling it is I'm seeing on this 1969s penny? Thank you

Food for thought, if you can't tell from the pics because they are blurry in preview, neither can we after posting them

If the doubling you are seeing is flat and shelf like, it is machine damage during the strike. It will look something like this:

That type of doubling was common on the 1968-1972 cents.

But seeing the first image, I can tell it is not the big DDO for that year. You would see it even that far away:

Note the over all size of the devices. Yours are slightly reduced from machine damage. On hub doubling the devices are enlarged.

I can't say from the images. But the devices are not enlarged like a doubled die would be. (the big one) But machine damage happens a lot of coins that year.

Sorry about my reply I had hit a smiley face
from the iPhone and didn't pick up on it until after
It had posted and I can't figure out how to fix it.
Sorry about that. I'll get the hang of this after
awhile.
