I recently tried to send money to my dad through papal using an american express card. I cancled because it was the wrong amount. About how long will it take before the money shows up back on my pre paid american express card?

You would need to ask PayPal and Amex.

Typically refunds can take up to two billing cycles for credit cards...

Something similar to yours I experienced recently, but it was a refund to my chequeing account. It took a total of 11 days of which 7 days were business days. I was very surprised how long I took.
