coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/30/2015 3:04 pm They are very common on the shield design. Die cracks are also seen on this area. They are so common that even as a marker that would be hard to make a match. Note the chips on the shield images. Report this Post to the Staff
koinpro Pillar of the Community United States 1781 Posts	Posted 07/01/2015 10:04 am For the record, what Coop means by the term "Marker" is a die chip, crack, etc., that helps to identify a die or die stage usually used in association with a more important variety such as a doubled die or Repunched Mintmark (RPM).
