I just got around to swapping out some old steelies and the difference is so much I wanted to show off. LOL
LOVE YOU GUYS!
First is the old ones. I am pretty sure he top two are dipped. The bottom left I dont have a clue, its like they dipped it then tried to remove it. LOL The bottom right looks OK to me.
Here are the replacements! LOL They all look nice and original to me, but I still have difficulties with wheats and Steelies especially.
All are nice. Have to ask, The old batch bottom left is a 1943S. Like it as well.
But my question is all are shown rotated upright position except the reverse shot of that one. Was that on purpose, or is it actually rotated strike? Thanks, Doug.
I ordered them from one of the websites I have seen recommended here. I figured a couple bucks each was worth the risk when I ordered some supplies. Stuff gets here, it just gets treated roughly in military mail sometimes. LOL
