Your note is a 1 Pound Issued by Bank of England Date ND (1960-1977) P-374g signature: J. B. Page

Most likely in 1977.

JB Page was Chief Cashier 1970-1980. I don't know the range of serial number prefixes yours is CZ and I have seen a HU so that kind of range suggests yours would have been issued in the early 1970's.

I would say around 1976 - I definitely recall having a real crush on a girl with the surname 'Cox' in October 1976, and getting a batch of brand new pound notes from the bank around then with the prefix 'CX', of which I kept one at the back of my wallet for months before spending it! Your note would be about the same age.

I just dug up this additional info.

Bank of England, 1 Pound, 1975 to 1978, signed by J. B. Page
Serial number prefixes run from AN01 to HZ63

Looks like Numisrob is on the button.
