Hi again

Can anyone figure out what year this coin may be? You can barely make out the second 9 and after that there is nothing there. Is this an error coin? The (19) is very clear. The back of the coin is in great shape.

your pictures are a little blurry, but its most likely caused by a Grease Filled Die.

Yeah it seems in my phone camera they look clearer than when
I upload them on my computer. I wish I could get them clearer.

Thank you for the quick response. Is that normal to happen with
Coins?

There is a photography section here. You may want to visit it, to pick up some tweaks for your photos. I've seen a lot worse. The middle one looks like your phone camera wasn't quite still enough.

Thank you Slamnbass..too funny! I've had this penny for awhile and tried and tried to figure out what the year was. I also have a 2000 dime and the last 0 is barely noticable and lower than the other 00's.

This one (19 whatever) makes me laugh every time I try to figure it out.

I really want to thank all you guys for being patient with me on all these questions and also dealing with my bad pictures. My curiousity about coins
is ongoing but I'm slowly learning...

Thank you CoinMasters I'll have to do that. I've always been one of those
people who would take a picture and only get half the head. I'm terrible about getting good pictures.

I was computer challenged, photography challenged, and knew very little about varieties and errors. Then I joined this Forum.

Have you read this yet?https://goccf.com/t/116512
Also, if you have a point-n-shoot digital camera you can use the macro function to take close up pics. It's the little flower icon. Turn off the flash and use natural light. Practice a bit, better pics will help us help you.

Thank you John1

I'm going to be back later and I'm going to
take some pictures the way these guys were
doing it with their iPhones. It may be I was trying
to hold the magnify glass to the phone while
taking pictures and was to shaky. Plus the
Lighting .

Keeping my fingers crossed. Let's see if I can
get them clearer and better.
