The number of colonials I see at shows seems to be strongly declining in recent years. Yet, when I do encounter ones in comparable condition, they typically sell for $40 - $50. Many colonial coppers were struck off-center, so that doesn't tend to enhance the value. Indeed, well-centered pieces with pleasing planchets tend to command a premium.
