I'm reading my Red Book commemorative section and this coin sparked my interest.

Red Book has the following numbers on it.
Bill Of Rights Half Dollar.
1993w 193,346 UNC.
1993s 586,315 Proof

Red Book also mentions that 9,656 UNC. were privately marked with serial numbers on the edge and the initials for Madison Foundation and ANA.

My question is...do those 9,656 hold a premium over the non marked ones?
Does the total UNC mintage above reflect the 9,656?

The counterstampd Stone Mountain State / Serial numbered coins definitely sell for 10X-30X the price of a non stamped one.

I Googled your link and it seems that the ANA was behind this.

If it had been a Home Shopping Network scam I would have said no premium. It if was truly the ANA then I think there would be some premium especially since I have never seen one offered for sale.

A quick search on ebay has one in a slab offered at 95.00, so I would say that is about 4-5x premium. Interesting, thanks for bringing this up.

I'm not sure how to link, hope this works
