It would be nice if I could use my Amex to buy coins. Any recommendations? Not APMEX I don't like their shipping and insurance charges.
Rest in Peace

I haven't had an AMEX for about 20 years, so I can't say who might still use them. However, I can advise that almost everyone accepts Pay Pal.

If you can set up a Pay Pal account using your AMEX as the basis for payment, then you can buy and pay for your purchases just about anywhere.

Again - I don't know if Pay Pal actually uses AMEX, but it's a very good alternative if they do.

Amex charges retailers a lot higher percentage to accept (visa/MC are around 1% amex is up near 5%) Paypal may charge an extra fee as well to cover the higher CC charges

Isn't amex's new motto "leave home without it because most places don't accept it anymore"? Or something like that

I have Amex and use it frequently. I get 6% cash back on groceries.

As for online shopping just add it to PayPal and you should be gtg.
