Supply is higher than demand currently on ebay. But there certainly is a demand there right now.

Well I bought 2 sets of the Trumans on ebay and lucked out with those and it was before the price got crazy. A seller that I had bought 4 or 5 things from in the past was selling singles for $130 and also accepting best offers. I sent in an offer of $225 shipped for 2 sets and because we had done business in the past he excepted (and will continue to do business in the future) and I was one of the fortunate ones that finally got an order placed in the final seconds for two of these. My point here is once Reagan is released and delivered in January what will the complete sets of 5 sell for? Anybody want to take a guess on the first completed real auction price. Woo Hoo JBuck!! Keep us posted AND........

Just got mine this afternoon. They're both nicer than my Trumans. I'll examine them closer tonight, and try to get a couple pics. I'm thankful I got them, with all the hassle I went through during the ordering process.

This dollar is not going in a slot machine though. :D

I'm now wondering if I should get both sets graded anyway and just keep the one that grades lower (I now have NGC submitting privileges since I'm a new ANA member). Isn't it cheaper if you send in more than 5 coins? (Assuming I send in something else like a liberty high relief when I get a replacement off backorder).

Submission Instructions:

The coin and medal should be submitted in capsules only. Do not send the stamp or other mint packaging.

Select the Modern tier or higher and select Special Label / Designation and check either Early Releases or First Releases. The 5-coin minimum requirement is waived.

The default label for both the dollar and medal will be NGC's Presidential label.

The default designation will be Early Releases if the dollar and medal qualify.

The 5-coin minimum requirement for the modern tier is waived, but the online submission form will not allow you to submit less than 5 in any configuration.

I used the fillable PDF submission form for the first time and I hope I didn't mess it up too bad.

It will save an additional $8.00 handling fee and shipping if you plan to have some others slabbed anyway. They've waived the 5 coin minimum on these.

Got my sets today. Both RPs have spotting on the reverse. Not great quality.

I'm not planning on selling yet. Prices are low because there are more people looking to unload them. When the Truman set came out, they started at $150, then dropped to $125 for about a week. Look where they are now. 70s are going to be crazy expensive. I'm sure mine won't meet that. In fact, I'll be happy with a 69.

9/11 and that's in their door, not postmark date.
