The ring looks like it from the late Roman period. The coin is Ancient Roman and looks like it might be Helena.

echizento, you have right this coin is found 1.5 km from Helena tomb in Tauresium.

Try the ring on; looks like it grants +1 to willpower.

On a serious note, a jeweler should at least be able to tell you what it's made of. It looks a little too intact to be Greek or Roman, but not out of the realm of possibilities.
