So today I went to the Durham Museum in Omaha, Nebraska. It is a wonderful place, and the museum is in the old Union Pacific station. The station is truly beautiful, and it was build in 1931. I went there today mainly to see the Byron Reed coin collection. I knew there was a coin collection there, but last time I went there (about a year ago) I has just started coin collecting and most of the stuff was boring to me. So today was a real treat. I spent most of my time in the Byron Reed collection area, a good 45 min. Most of it was spent drooling at the 1804 dollar, confederate cent, and a stunning proof 1868 pattern for a cent. Lets take a look at some of the 50+ Photos I took (I took 163 in all, after deleting I had 56)! I'll upload more photos later today and tomorrow! 1859 UNC IHC 1877 20 C Piece And now... The 1804 Dollar! Very hard to photograph! Fuigio Coin Here is a group coins. This is pretty cool- A Confederate cent! Here is a Hard Times Token Phew! Almost done for right now! Flying Eagle cent Pattern. Cool proof coin! And here is a Denver mint bad for Eagles! Not sure what gold coin is an "eagle" Anyways, its my phones backround now! Here is where the "Big" stuff is. Several key dates are in here. And last but not least, we have what I bought at the gift shop. Tempting to buy model trains instead, but I managed!

Quote: just checked it online, and apparently there are only two known, both held by the Smithsonian? Is this one a reproduction? According to my knowledge, only two have been made in gold. There are various others made with different kinds of metal. Anyway, looked like an interesting trip! If I ever make it to Omaha, Nebraska, I know what I'll be doing!
