I recently reached out to a Dansco Album dealer and asked if Dansco is going to update their albums to accommodate the Uncirculated S minted ATB Quarters.

Here's their response: "I have spoke to Dansco about the S minted uncirculated quarter issue and they told me that would be producing a supplement page. This page will contain ports just for the S UNC's and there would be not change to the layout of the current 8146 and 8147 albums. They also informed me that this page will not be available for purchase until the entire S minted UNC series is over. Thank you for your email and have a great day!"

Looks like it will be available sometime after 2021.

Thanks welder for the update.

That's great news to the -S quarter. I think it's a sleeper portion of the series.

I need to catch up on the 2015 coins though.

They are going to do what I was going to do (add pages), only better (printed versus blank).

Sounds like the right call.

Smart to wait since we never know when the Mint will start producing RP and EU versions.

I was looking at my albums last night, and I think adding
extra pages would take three pages.

Not sure how three pages would fit into these albums.

Kwik history lesson: The ATB S-UNC quarters started in 2012 due to the San Francisco was celebrating its 75th Anniversary. The Mint has continued with them to date. The ATB program will end with a single coin release in 2021. On average, the Mint produces 70 Million P&D quarters for each design, while the mintage of the S-UNC quarters are <= 1.7 million per design.

In doing the math, a Dansco page holds 20 quarters. If the S-UNC quarters go to 2021, there will be 46 quarters. So it will take 2.3 Dansco pages (3 pages to be precise) to hold these coins.

That's bigger than the SBA album with proofs!

I was thinking ... Adding the pages to the albums we currently have.

You did mention the 8146/8147. I could see one page being added
to the 8146. Not sure adding two pages to the 8147 would work.
Or adding three pages to the P/D album.

If a larger binder was offered ... That would work.

Of course having a seperate album for just the business strike
would work too.

Yes there are smaller albums. The 2009 Territory quarters is two pages.
And the Liberty head nickel ( V nickel) is only one labeled page,
with a blank page added.

Yeah, it is going to be a tight fit. I should just go with my original plan and get some blank pages for one of my miscellaneous albums. None of holes are labeled in those albums, so getting the printed ones would look out of place anyway.

Right now the uncirculated S-mint ATB Quarters I have acquired (many are thanks to the gentleman whose post I followed above) reside in cardboard 2x2 holders and will remain in them until the series is complete.

Hoarding the S mint mark rolls is a no brainer. After the series ends, you buy 30 sets of these supplemental pages, fill them with the coins from your rolls (after you cherry pick the best 10 for your collection) and sell them to those poor quarter collectors who either missed out on the S series or didn't want to buy rolls from the mint. As a result ..you clear a hefty premium and buy the wife something nice.

I have picked up a few rolls of ATB S quarters, but I think that once these come to value a lot of the rolls will be broken and the real sleeper will be the sealed s rolls from the mint, and not the the full s sets. With them wrapping coins in the mint rolls I think that keeping them unbroken is the way to go. Personal Opinion.

I haven't decided yet how I will approach this. But eventually I'll do something.

I'm sure GR58 will regale us with some tremendous photos of his solution (and I look forward to it!).
