Anyone use this program? I am hesitant on downloading new stuff to my computer..

http://www.bayprospector.com/index.htm

Been looking for a program that allows me to input numerous searches into one field and then with the click of 1 button, all the results pop up that can be organized to help navigate.

Also found a program called nobid that searches ebay for auctions that haven't received a bid, that doesn't seem to be a downloaded program so I might give that a try over the next few days to see if anything of interest pops up.

Never heard of either. Thanks for the heads up, I will investigate further to see if they can add to my ebay game.

I do some prospecting of my own on ebay in an effort to bottom feed.

Here is a custom search I wrote after seeing the great CCF link for all forum members.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/Coins-Paper...LH_PrefLoc=2

All items start well below retail with no reserve.

This search is limited by seller so only maybe 50 - 100 ebay vendors are included. Never counted them honestly.

Can't vouch for any of them as I have only bought off maybe a dozen or so. Buyer beware.

This list is basically all my saved ebay sellers, sellers mentioned here at CCF, sellers found using great CCF ebay tools, and then clicking on every CCF member that had an ebay link and inventory for sale that fit my description.

Typically 10,000+ coins up for auction and many go well below retail.

Too many coins to sort through honestly, so I filter them out by category in the upper left corner and then pack my watch list to the max 200 items and then wait for good opportunities to present themselves.

Good luck to you and thanks for the links. I am a bit of an ebay ninja and always looking for an edge.

Rest in Peace

My best buys are always from sellers who know little about coins and are selling their Dad/Grandpa's stash. You have to be careful to bid on what you know, because you can't expect someone who doesn't know coins to alert you to problems.

They don't know coins so they don't know cleaning or counterfeits, so you have to be willing to trust yourself when bidding from the unknowing.

Usually those sellers sell very little on ebay, too, so they do not have a big following. I always think that I'm doing them a favor by making sure that at least a few of the coins they sell go into a warm and loving environment.

I was hoping to hear some reviews of this program too. It sounds interesting since ebay doesn't let me save enough searches.
