Kinda looks like it was a buried nickel,metal detector find.

Yep. Years in the ground corrodes nickel just that way.

This one is unique, maybe coop should add it to his gallery.


It's basically the resultant on a circulated Dryer Coin that was in the ground.

Just because of that, I don't usually say to keep these kinds of things, but it's that uniqueness about it.

Funny Coop.........I figured this one was PMD. I just thought it was cool how the metal flows up the coin obscuring the lettering. Oh well, it's only five cents, I'll just add it to the collection as a reminder of what man can do to destroy the coins we all love.
