Vg8 in my opinion . It depends on what time frame it is ANACS graded. Old small holder VG 8 , blue holder Fine 12 ,new edition or recent gold holder VG8, graded10 years ago VG 10. The most recent lots I have received back from ANACS have been quite conservative. Show us the holder please!

This is from last nights Heritage World Coin Auction, and appears to be the older small holder, but I won't spoil the fun. I think it is graded spot on.

northcoin, you are right, it is from last night's HA auction. I was really happy with the price, I assume most bidders never looked for the SD/LD difference, I was a little unsure, but took the risk and really wanted the 1926 cent as well, it fills a nice hole in my MS cent collection.

We use ANACS a lot since we attend all the Seattle and Portland shows where they usually have Cindy accepting submissions.I experimented the last two shows and clipped some ICCS coins out and submitted raw to ANACS six of the seven were spot on and one came back a point lower. they seem to be quite conservative these days.
The OP got a wonderful deal on that auction lot!
