I messaged the seller just to give him the heads up and told him I wasn't in a hurry. The Pony Express will get to the East Coast eventually

Funny.

Yeah the seller was like, 'don't worry, it's insured, you'll get your money back....' I really would rather have the coin, it's a nice slabbed 1904 S VG08 Barber Half

The seller actually does insure the inexpensive coins he sells, I've bought from him in the past. What more can you ask for really

...to be continued
Rest in Peace

I ordered a coin from a dealer in CA. sent him a money order for the coin plus shipping. it took 8 or 9 days to get to East Coast. (NY)
needless to say , I don't like buying from California.

I have also had very slow delivery times from the East Coast to South Texas.

I mailed a package to Canada once via USPS. It went to New York, then to Florida, back to New York, back again to Florida, back to New York, then to British Columbia, Canada. A real nail-biter.

My worst and best shipping times have been from California and Florida. I am in NJ. I ordered a coin onna friday once and came home from work on a Monday and it was delivered. Then I've had 2 week time wait. I ordered a coin and it was held up for s couple of weeks when everyone had that airport strike a couple months back in California. Hope everything works out, I eventually got all my stuff.
