Just ran across another auction, this one for Die Deterioration Doubling on a Lincoln Cent. I think unknowing people are buying these as an investment maybe. I do think they are investing in a lost cause. These coins will never be worth anything above face value.

I wouldn't have a problem with the auction EXCEPT the seller used the term Machine Doubled Die. If he would have just used Machine Doubled ...fine...no foul. But when you put the word Die there right after Doubled it is inferring the Die is Doubled and it is not.

I agree, exactly, Jayman. The wording wasn't quite accurate - misleading.
