So, I've purchased some half dollars and other coins from a few of the big name online precious metal dealers and often find them in full stock. Today, I just happened to go look at their websites and notice that all of their half dollars were out of stock...then noticed all quarters were out of stock... is something going on that I wasn't aware of? I know silver price dropped a tad but not to any sort of extreme.

At the moment, Provident still has Kennedy halves in stock, 35% premium. Lower spot price = more demand, less stock = higher premiums. When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

No one's selling at this low spot price. Just buying and hoarding.

I'm not sure price difference, but APMEX still has junk rolls on ebay... Although cheapest they offer is like $157 for $10 in fv.. That doesn't sound like its marked down with market prices. |

That's about $10 a roll higher than what I'm used to. Not that big of a deal. I don't know if I should run to my guy and buy junk like crazy or if these companies are up to something.

I've been paying 15 to 1... I'm newish to buying junk (less than 6 months) and price has always been same. How often do prices fluctuate?. I'd imagine the 2 shops I go to are going to stay at 15 until people stop buying, which doesn't seem to be the trend.. I haven't been in about a month, but I hope to get there this week and see if any changes

I always pay between 12-14 per $1 face on junk. Doesn't seem to matter what direction the market goes.

Hey Jogging, have you checked in with your local "We Buy Gold Stores" recently, for my 2 in my area still have the 90% quarters and halves in abundance they tell me. My 2 LCS also are out of junk silver except for 40% JFK's.

Peersonally, I don't care for APMEX. They always seem to be on the high end. |

I haven't checked locally yet. I like APMEX for several reasons. Their selection is massive and if something is wrong with your order they fix it with very little hassle. |

My LCS is buying at 10x and selling at 14x.
