I found this , and 4, others in the first three rolls of a box I got at Myrtle Beach. On the left side wall of the Monticello there is a blob (kinda resembling a rat.) What is it? About 85% of the box appears to be 2015P.

What's-This-On-The-2015-Nickel?

Probably a die chip, but will let others comment and would be great to have a close up of that area...

Close ups would help determine if it is a die chip, a die gouge, or some displaced metal.

It is a raised surface. I'll try a close up. My son-in-law took the picture with an iphone. I've got an android which takes terrible pictures.

That's too big to be a rat. I think it's an opossum.

Most likely a die chip.

However I prefer: The Wall-climbing Opossum nickel

But you found it so you have naming rights.

Don't know what's climbing up the wall, but if 85% are 2015-Ps, are you looking for the new DDR that was recently discovered?

shoot it through a loupe? that sounds like a pretty good scope on that gun.

Depends on where and what its on. There is a whole segment of collecting built around cracks, chips and breaks in the liberty of Lincoln cents collectively called BIE's
It can be called an error
