2015 P Nebraska Quarter - What Caused This Anomaly?

I have been seeing examples of this quarter with various deviations about the water pump itself. This image shows the most dramatic of these deviations:

Wow you never got an answer...... it looks like a die chip to me it's possible a design flaw leaving that area prone to failure. I have also noticed the bottom of the bucket, the roof line, and the leaves at places are prone to chipping on this quarter. I'm assuming it's design issue or maybe the mint is just getting cheap or if it's Philadelphia only it's because they have very poor standards.

Looks like ejection damage on your coin.
