These came in local, I am near Pensacola Florida.
I really like how they look.

Any Opinions?

1963, 1992 and 2011

The 1963 set, I like because of the Capital coin holder.

But If I find a nice 1958 or 1967 set .. I may switch
them out.

The 1992 set caught my eye, I think because I am also
putting together a set of U.S prestige sets.
These double dollar sets seem to be about the same.

Nice looking sets.
FYI-(in case you don't know)
The seven coin Double Dollar Prestige Sets
from 1971-1980 are of Specimen Quality.
From 1981 they are of Proof Quality.(As your 1992 set)
Specimen sets continued on in 1981 but did
not consist of the commemorative dollar but starting 2004
contained a special Specimen Set Loonie. (as your 2011 set)
Your 1963 set looks to be Proof-Like quality.

JimmyD
Thanks for posting, that is some good information

The 1963 does look proof to me.

But then, I have never compared what Canada calls
proof like .. And proof.

Hi again GR58.
Your 63 set has to be Proof-Like as Proof Quality coins were not minted until 1981.
Canadian coin quality on sets can be confusing with Proof-Like (up to 1980)
Specimen, Proof and Uncirculated all in the mix.

Great Gray Owl Loonie Dollar was only available in that set from 2011.
It is Specimen as JimmyD says, with reverse proof finish and
mintage limited to 35,000 sets.

The 1992 Proof set has the Double Date on those coins, a nice addition,
but a much higher mintage at 147,061. In 1992 the Provincial series of
quarters came out so not many Caribou 25 Cents are around.

I'm partial to the 1963, set my birth year, get another 1967,
don't trade that nice PL set away.

Those Prestige sets are really nice from the US, thanks for sharing.
