It looks like a coin some one with 1 post will post on here and then ask if it is PMD or a super awesome error. I don't own it but have you seen the milk delivery 50 cent piece?

Eddio, it looks like a flawed planchet to me, at least partly. Definitely not a pretty coin but very interesting.

For design, this is the ugliest coin I own. I know I'm suppose to feel all warm and fuzzy about it because it's 'Canada through a child's eye' and was designed by a child, but I don't.

MKnickel I would have to agree on you with that one...what a ugly reverse to that coin. I betcha some people were cringing with that design

I personally own one of those coins and think it's beautiful because it's missing the "25 cents" on the obverse

@Harmonica I have one of the Milk Delivery coins. Why would I be mooooved to get one? 1. When I saw it, I could not believe a coin would be made commemorating milk delivery (no one would believe me)!
2. I like the triangle shape.
3. It's got an old milk bottle on it - and I have a few of the bottles and like them - never seen another coin featuring one!
4. Who would believe a Canadian coin would have a cow on it unless I could pull it out and show them?
5. I like the blue covering.
BTW - concerning your name - I have/play a Hohner Pro 64 and some Hohner 270s in C, G, and D. I used to play a lot - now not so much.

Timnic44, darn a couple of months ago I tossed out what could have been the beginning of a grand set to match up with your penny! It appeared to be a steel nickel from the '40s or '50s that either had no nickel plating to begin with or spent a portion of its life in water, or both. It was so badly corroded that at least 75% of both sides had turned into great gobs of rust. Who knew it could have had a purpose....

Earle42,
It does make a nice novelty I suppose. If my milk token collection grows anymore I might pick that coin up and a few milk bottles and do a display.
I play a Hohner 270 Chromonica key of C, Special 20 diatonic keys of c,b and d plus I have a bunch of harmonicas made in Occupied Japan (Another collection I maintain; Occupied Japan)
