These are tough to grade, and are notorious for clashes. I'll say AU58-MS62. Even with the poor hair detail it could be MS, but there also might be a little wear.

How about a close-up of the date?

Really strong columns on the III!

Count me in as High AU / Lo MS crowd.

That is what I thought...RPD-001.

I have one of those as well, minus the clashing, PCGS MS63. Nice one!

Does this carry a decent premium? I paid quite a bit for it and didn't even realize it was RPD

No idea, but IMHO I think it's TPG worthy.

There's certainly a lot going on with this coin!

I would grade it MS-62.
Rest in Peace

I'm in the high AU/ low MS camp as well. Great die state of a cool variety.

Hair braid and ribbon fully separated, no hint of rub. Minor soft strike at center obverse, most noticeable because of strong clash. No luster breaks. Does not appear to have been cleaned or dipped with no corrosion evident.

Mint State. Very few hits on obverse, none in striking positions, unblemished cheek. Reverse very nice.

MS62 all day long, and tons of eye appeal. Gorgeous.
