Looks like 1941S-1MM-005

Here are a couple of markers from the CONECA e-Disk:

Quote:

Stage A: Obverse is EDS Die gouge dot between NU of UNUM - EDS
Stage B: Obverse is MDS Die crack upper Left wheat to rim - MDS

The die dot is still visible on the stage "B" between NU on UNUM.
The gunk inside the upper loop is probably covering more of the mint mark. (probably why you didn't pick up on this die yourself)

For a minute I was looking too!

It was most likely the keyboards fault. Mine does it all the time.

Would it be prudent to Acetone this one? Or maybe just try rinsing it?

I would soak it in mineral oil for a time and lightly work on removing the gunk carefully to not scratch the surface with grit in the filled devices.

I've been using high quality olive oil to do the same. Is mineral oil better? And if so, do you recommend a certain kind? Also, is there a preferred way then of removing the oil from the coin? Thanks.

Olive oil is organic. Can rot. Mineral oil is similar to what coins are exposed to in the mint.
