What are you referring to? I'm guessing the mint mark? It could be just coin contact that damaged your coin or Die Deterioration on the mint mark. I can't tell for sure.

When coins get wrapped it sometimes damages the faces of the end coins. I refer to it as Wrapping Machine Damage. Another cause if vending machines. The turning in the chamber can damage the coin. A damaged coin is just worth face value.

The photo just isn't sharp enough to tell for certain, but the majority of hits on the MM are similar to what Coop describes.
