Looks like a pocket piece, but I assume this is ungradable?

I know the PCGS photo grade app has one of these in similar if not worse condition that is ungradable.

The above statement on the ebay verbiage seems to be an interesting marketing ploy geared toward the low numismatic information crowd.

I cannot envision anyone wanting to own a coin of this nature with probably 30% of its silver melt value eliminated: a coin in which someone in all likelihood intentionally sanded it down using fine grit sandpaper stuck on a drill disk bit.

Please educate me if I am missing something here since I'd hate to miss out on something of historic significance etc.

Yeah, I came across that one yesterday evening as well. Nothing but a half ounce of silver in my opinion.
