Hello, I finally joined after lurking for two years. I have learned a ton of stuff from you guys reading the forums. I started collecting in 2010 when I inherited my dads coins. I decided to finish the years he didn't have and that's when It took over and had to have better grades in Mint state. Once it gets a hold of you there's no stopping it.. I was hoping to get your opinion on this 1937 quarter for grade? I have a large amount of coins that I look forward to your opinion on but I can't seem to list them because the files are to large. I cropped them but still to large. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Nice quarter! As for pictures, I reduce the mega-pixel setting on my camera, then I crop and load

Cheers Don
Vickies cents and GB Farthings nut. "Old" is a figure of speech and nothing more

Welcome Silverfox2010. You can also use a web based photo storage site and upload a link to the picture - like Photobucket. It will allow you to upload files to this forum of pictures with greater size and clarity. Sweet looking frosty quarter, MS-63 from the pics.

MS63 if those are hits in the fields, if they are lustre breaks, MS64. I agree with Photobucket for photos.

I'm leaning towards MS64. Nice coin and As for the pictures, try opening them in Paint (if you use Windows. Not sure what the Paint alternative is for Macs), then crop the picture there, save it as a jpeg and upload it here. You could also use the Free Image Optimizer to drastically reduce the size of the file.

@ paulz, I did try paint and down sized it and still didn't work. But I don't think I saved it as jpeg? I will check that out and see. Thanks for the advice And Thanks everyone for taking the time to give me your opinion on the grade. Much better then I was expecting. I was thinking ms62.
