Another new purchase today. Opinions on grade please. The grade is split (obverse vs. reverse) so I am curious to see where y'all think the grade on this one falls.

The reverse appears to be exhibiting the classic weak strike pattern on the eagles wings.

That being said, the over-all wear points to VF-20 in my opinion.

I'll go VF25 since the hair has detail left.

VF-20 details. Sratch on reverse and old cleaning. It is the B-1 variety.

Nice die crack through STATES. Should go VF20 and problem-free from what I see. Shot 25 but the reverse could hold it back. I wouldn't store a coin that nice in a 2x2 unless it was for shipping or transport only.

IMO even though it appears to have been rubbed on the high points, it was long ago and it has righteously toned and would grade problem free on the surface but potentially given a details grade VF25 with the reverse taking it down due to the scratch

nice coin, I'd like to have one like it

VF-30. The hit on the shield is not overly distracting.
