I'd like to see a new design here. I'd really like to see something other than a president. Bring back lady liberty for me... :)

Even though I really dislike modern political figures on coins, I love long-lasting designs. As such, I don't think this one should be broken. The US dime is one of few coins that hasn't seen a design change since its composition change.

The mistake was changing the design in the first place, in my opinion. I'm actually amazed that there has been no change in design so far.

I think a reboot of the old Merc design would be nice.

Topic moved to the US Modern forum.

I suspect it may pick up a few more 'no' votes...

...or not.

And it was my grandfather's dime for all but his first 24 years.

I have a lot of respect for what FDR accomplished, but between Executive Order 6102 and literally going for a lifetime term, he is not one of my favorite presidents.

Frankly, I think all designs desperately need a reboot, maybe when the ATB series is done. Drop the dead politicians and replace them with a cycle of America's history, natural beauty, cultural heritage, and famous individuals.

We should have a coin depicting Alexander Graham Bell, because he invented the telephone. And who doesn't have a cell phone nowadays? Well, actually he didn't invent the telephone, but he had a better patent attorney so everybody *thinks* he invented the telephone. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inven...he_telephone

Why is it always usually Reagan, or Lady Liberty when we talk about redesigns? Can't we come up with something new? (Like dogs? "In Dog We Trust" )

I would love to see animals (other than the eagle) on coins.
