Something is not right on the 1958 franklin. The year seems too close to the T in TRUST and the digits doesn't seem to be clear like the others. Even the scanner doesn't give a good pic and I don't know what else to do as my camera is a basic one. What type of magnifier is needed to spot errors?

The lettering and date both appear thicker on the 1958 than on the 1957. I don't know anything about Franklin errors, but hopefully someone here will chime in soon. I'm curious to see opinions.

What caught my eye is that the 58 is not as clean cut as the 57. There seem to be something inside the 5 and 8

Hi Shatsi

My best guess on the 58 is perhaps a little Die Deterioration Doubling ,which in most cases but not always will exhibit some thickening of the devices, which would be most noticable on the date and lettering .
