"This strange coin dates from 1680 France. The Latin words translate = "It's here at an opportune time". Is it a flying saucer, it looks like an aerial craft. Debunkers claim it's a mushroom. Is it possible this coin, the size of a quarter, was used to commemorate Ezekiel's story in the Bible? How does the inscription blend with the Biblical story? Is the coin designed to remind the populace of an UFO that appeared during a major turning point or event, in French history? What a strange find, an engraved picture of an UFO or of a fungus--mushroom" (about 1/4 way down page) http://www.santafeghostandhistoryto...NON-UFO.html

Strange, my first thought was the Hindu "bible" called the Bhagavad Gita. In it it talks about ethereal beings fighting in the sky on floating cities which some today theorize were aliens on ufo's. I could be way off here, heck I probably am, but that was my first reaction to it

here is the other side from the above coin which says: "HĆC PER TE AVCTA COLAM translated" as "Let this growth be pleasing for your heart" http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum...ad669572/pg1 and a few others from the same link from above with the "flying shield": any thoughts?

Uh, no. Just because you cannot explain it does not mean it is unexplainable.

Hmmm... I could have sworn this post was in General Discussion. That means I should refrain from posting what I wanted to post next.
