trdhrdr007 Pillar of the Community United States 2335 Posts	Posted 01/06/2008 4:16 pm I strongly suspect that this is Machine Doubling, but it's the first of any type of doubling I've found. I hope what I am seeing is visible in the pictures. It appears that the date & mint mark are doubled to the north. Probably not visible in the photos, it also appears to be doubled above Lincoln's chin & nose. Anyone care to give an informed opinion? Report this Post to the Staff

If it helps any it looks like the doubling is pretty flat. I'll fool around with it some over the next few days & will post if I get any better shots. Report this Post to the Staff
