I strongly suspect that this is Machine Doubling, but it's the first of any type of doubling I've found. I hope what I am seeing is visible in the pictures. It appears that the date & mint mark are doubled to the north. Probably not visible in the photos, it also appears to be doubled above Lincoln's chin & nose. Anyone care to give an informed opinion?

I'd like to show you some better pics but I'm limited by equipment & skill level. If it helps any it looks like the doubling is pretty flat. I'll fool around with it some over the next few days & will post if I get any better shots.

Definitely Machine Doubling, and very highly common on 1968 cents.

The fact that the mintmark and the date are doubled makes it a dead giveaway that it is Machine Doubling.
